Sunday, 9 April 2017: Wonder

(Lantern festival at the Missouri Botanical Gardens)

If you enjoy living, it is not difficult to keep the sense of wonder. –Ray Bradbury

How delightful it would be to always be able to see the world through the eyes of a child. Many artists come close to it, but it’s available to us all. Look at the sky, the stars, a single blade of grass, and marvel. We can see entire new universes all around us, if only we will pause, and let the child in us look, and wonder.

This is a beautiful photo and I like the words of Ray Bradbury; I don’t ever think I looked at life through the eyes of a child.

You must be an old soul. It’s a lovely thing to be, Skye.
