When I was looking for quotes for Memorial Day, I never imagined I’d use one from Russell Crowe, who is known more for playing a brave guy in films, and for that awkward cell phone incident. But it’s appropriate because Memorial Day is a time to be grateful as hell for the people who gave their lives–willingly and, yes, unwillingly–so the rest of us could continue to live in peace, or at least pursue it. I’m humbled.
